Kick back and relax in this tranquil and stylish space. With stunning views of the surrounding farm land this converted stable block is an ideal space to get away from it all.
Adipit Stables sits on the outskirts of Buckland Brewer village near to the town of Bideford, within the North Devon countryside. Despite its hidden rural location we are central to many amenities and local attractions; just a 5 minute drive from the local village pub and shop; 10 minutes from Affinity Devon Outlet shopping centre, Westward Ho!, The Big Sheep, and the Tarka Trail; 6 miles from Bideford and RHS Garden Rosemoor, and 26 miles from Croyde.

The stables is set within five acres of grounds which are home to our' chickens, guinea fowl and family pets, and surrounded by working farmland.
Inside, the property is furnished with a light and contemporary but homely flair providing comfort and a cosy place to rest and take in the views of the surrounding pastures and fields. Externally, guests can enjoy their own patio area with outside dining, along with taking in the beauty of the surrounding countryside.
Life in Bideford has historically been based around river life with a thriving import and export industry during the 16th Century with several street names and a hill named in honour of Sir Walter Raleigh. Away from the charm of the town itself, the surrounding area is where you will find the true beauty of the region. Take inspiration from the acclaimed novel Tarka the Otter and set out on a section of the 180 mile long Tarka Trail, which is both cycle and walker friendly. Within five miles are the nearest beaches at Westward Ho! with more coastal paths to take in the beauty of the North Devon coastline. In less than 30 minutes of travel explorers will find the picturesque village of Clovelly, steeped in a rich history which is still visible today, and the Hartland peninsula, an area of outstanding natural beauty, providing dramatic scenery and gardens to visit as well as the historic Hartland Abbey and village. Other villages of interest, within 30 minutes of us, are Appledore and Instow, both with views of the Torridge River and great places to eat and relax, with Instow boasting its own beach. Surfers, walkers and explorers can also enjoy the many beaches further along the north coast, including those of Woolacombe, Saunton Sands and Croyde, as well as the villages of Ilfracombe, Lynton and Lynmouth and the National Park of Exmoor, which can be found north of Barnstable.
